Life's Rich Tapestry

5 Things I Have Learned This Week (in no particular order).

1. It's a really bad idea to go to work on your day off. That whole, "I'll leave as soon as I've finished this," thinking really doesn't work.

2. It's worth paying the extra £3 at Willie Smarts for a senior stylist to cut your hair. I forked out last time and had a gorgeous cut, but this time I plumped for the cheaper option and now look like Rod Stewart / Peter Stringfellow circa 1981.

3. It's a very good idea to follow the instructions on the can of inflatable filler which say 'Do not bring into contact with skin'. I really don't know how to get this off...

4. Exercise really does make you feel better! I actually managed to drag myself out of bed this week to go running and felt better all day than I have done in weeks. Who knew? (Don't answer that)

5. You really can't avoid wrinkles for ever. I have a brand new one. Strange to think, it'll be with me for the rest of my life!
